The Technical University of Moldova (UTM) is a leading higher education institution specializing in engineering, technology, and related fields. In accordance with the European Bologna Process, UTM offers Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degree programs. Courses are taught primarily in Romanian, while selected programs are also available in English, French, and Russian.
UTM is recognized in Eastern Europe for its strong emphasis on practical learning, advanced research facilities, and the development of entrepreneurial initiatives and innovation.
The Black Sea Universities Network (BSUN) represents the cooperation framework for Academic Institutions from the Black Sea Region.
BSUN facilitates the inter-university cooperation and the generation of synergies among education, scientific research, innovation and cultural cooperation.
The Republic of Moldova and Romania will host on 26–27 May 2027 in Chișinău and Iași the Ministerial Conference of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), one of the most important international events dedicated to university education. The event will bring together education ministers from the 46 EHEA member states, along with leaders of international organizations and experts from about 80 countries, within the Global Policy Forum.
Launched in 1999, the Bologna Process aims to harmonize the National Higher Education Systems in order to be compatible and comparable at the European level, promoting academic mobility and international cooperation.
